We are Liz and Sepp Burger together with our now grown up sons Christoph and Oliver. Our leisure time is mostly spent somewhere in the surrounding countryside with our dogs.

We have our mongrel dog "Spotty" since she was born in 1997 and suddenly at the age of five she went blind in both eyes as a result of cataract. We were all in great despair and unsure how to cope with this new situation. Some friends said - "you need a second dog to guide her". And that's how it all began ...

Desi (better Desirée Vodanoj) from Slovenia's father was owned by an man living in Austria. We made contact with him in Lower Austria and on 14th November 2002 at the age of 12 weeks we collected Desi. Since then she has filled our life with much energy, affectionate friendship and most of all she has become a wonderful companion for our blind Spotty. Desi had to learn how to read Spotty's signals which weren't always conform with those of sighted dogs. She has managed very well and in the meantime they are the greatest of friends.

At the international Dog Show in Innsbruck last year we made our first contact with the Austrian Dalmatian Club who encouraged us to show Desi at the next international meeting in Austria ...

... which started the ball rolling!!!!

Exactly one year later, in Innsbruck, following 9 International Shows in Austria and abroad, Desi took and passed her examination for Permission to be used for Breeding.

So nothing else stands in our way ...

... is ready for take off!!
